About

Cambridge University Medical Brigades is a society dedicated to medical volunteering abroad and aiding rural communities to achieve sustainable health outcomes!

We organise 7–9-day volunteer brigades in six countries across Central America and Africa and will be led in conjunction with the Global Medical Brigades' professionals. We do our utmost best to avoid traps such as "voluntourism" and adopting a "white saviour complex" and if you would like to know more about how we do this - do drop in and send us a message!

We will host fundraiser events to fund these communities and will also organise events to educate people on these communities as well as basic medical practices.
