United Nations Association

CUUNA is dedicated to gaining more support for the spirit of the United Nations (UN) within the University and youth in the local community. We put on regular Speakers' Events, while also hosting and travelling to compete at several Model UN conferences. We aim to: 1) Educate and promote greater understanding of the role, functions and potential of the UN, its agencies and its Charter, with special attention to the Sustainable Development Goals. 2) Further the ideals, principles and objectives of the UN and empower youth and students to become involved in its realisation, reform and development. 3) Act as a forum for youth and students to network, socialise and raise awareness of international affairs.
